The course
considers a missions model for the local church that incorporates
discovery (evangelistic) and discipleship small
groups. Members act as facilitators who open their homes in selected
geographic regions. The lost are guided through a series of salvation
themes in an informal and relational environment where questions are
both entertained and answered in a non-threatening manner (discovery
groups). Discipleship groups aim at taking believers through
foundational life-principles to build lives upon the truth of God's Word
while prayerfully encouraging one another. The Sunday service becomes a
rallying point for the body to express worship in order to fuel the
passion of the body through song, testimony, and the preaching of the
Word. |
